Develops new business and interacts with existing customers to increase company’s product sales.

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, organization directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Works with management in developing sales presentations and materials.
  • Makes sales calls and write sales letters.
  • Handles customer sales orders and Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers by phone
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts. Purchase inventory and monitor stock levels.
  • Assist with developing new services and products and establishes prices for products and services.
  • Prepares reports on job related transactions and expense accounts.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales receipts for orders obtained.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.

College degree or technical school certificate in this field; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Employee should contain basic computer knowledge.
